Diving into the colourful world of one of the world’s most famous artists, this exhibition at the beautiful Grand Palais is certainly aptly named.
Picasso Mania is a chronological and thematic study of Picasso’s meteoric career and incredible legacy, as well as an exploration of the mythology that surrounds him as both man and artist.
With a superb collection of works including many loaned from the recently reopened Picasso Museum in the Marais, Expect everything from Cubist still-lifes through to the artist’s most iconic works, including Les Demoiselles d’Avignon and Guernica. Set to be a highlight of Paris’ cultural calendar for the autumn/winter season, the exhibition opens on 7 October and enjoys a generous run until 29 February 2016. The ultimate chance to discover (or rediscover!) the work of a one-man artistic phenomenon.
